elopements
Eloping has become a popular choice for many couples. A traditional wedding isn’t for everyone—the stress of planning a big event for a crowd can be overwhelming and expensive. More couples are choosing to keep it simple, getting married in a way that feels right for them, often outdoors or at a courthouse. These smaller, more personal ceremonies are all about doing what makes sense for you as a couple.
I’ve spent years working in the Wild West, finding incredible spots for elopements. Whether you want an easily accessible location for guests or you’re dreaming of a remote mountaintop, I’m here to help guide you. Unlike some photographers who double as elopement planners, my role is focused on photography- capturing the day as it naturally unfolds. That said, working with me means getting advice based on my experience photographing elopements—whether it’s helping you refine your timeline, ensuring we have the best lighting, or offering suggestions for logistics. My goal is to help you make the most of your day without overcomplicating it. After all, if you’re eloping, chances are you’re looking for a wedding that’s uncomplicated.
For couples who know exactly what they want, or for those just figuring things out, I’m here to offer support where you need it and document your day. When you inquire with me, I’ll send a questionnaire to get to know you better, and if you book with me, we’ll work together to make your elopement authentic and memorable for you as a couple.

weddings
Wedding photography is the catalyst behind my business. Photographing weddings, in particular, ignited a passion in me and helped me realize why photography truly matters. This is the last time you will see all of the same people at the same time. And because of that, big weddings will always hold a special place in my heart.
If you’re the kind of couple who loves throwing a big celebration, with all your favorite people around you at your dream venue or in your backyard, I would love to be there. I understand it’s a big deal to choose one person to photograph a day you’ll never relive- so I take that responsibility seriously. My approach on wedding days is to blend in, like a fly on the wall. I’m not there to create moments, but to let them unfold naturally. Many couples feel stressed before and during their wedding day, and since I began photographing weddings in 2015, I’ve refined my approach to help lighten that load. I want your day to be as real and authentic as you’ve planned it. I’ll be with you throughout the day, blending in with your guests and capturing the details and emotions as they happen, leaving you with beautiful, documentary-style memories.

families
What sets me apart from other family photographers is my focus on making the entire experience enjoyable for you. Getting family photos shouldn’t feel like a stressful, hair-pulling, bribery-filled ordeal! I’m here to change how you feel about family sessions.
I won’t hesitate to make your kids laugh by making silly sounds, chasing them around, or being a total goofball. Whatever it takes to keep the energy fun and light!
Family sessions should be a blast. Let’s plan a fun adventure at a beautiful spot that’s quick and easy. After all, your family won’t be this age again—what do you want to remember most about this moment in your family’s life?

frequently asked questions
We are super camera shy. How will you navigate that?
I understand that being in front of the camera can be intimidating, but I assure you that I don’t expect you to be models. I have worked with hundreds of different kinds of people over the years. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the little moments. I find that humor brings out the best in people, and if we can laugh and shake off any nervousness, the photos will turn out naturally. It’s also important to know that as time passes, you’ll become more comfortable with me being there with a camera. There will be times when I’m not taking photos, so don’t expect the camera to be in your face the entire time. That tends to ease people’s minds!
What is your editing style?
My editing style focuses on rich, bold colors while preserving the true tones of your skin and the surrounding elements. I’m a fan of film-like editing, ensuring that the sky and your skin tone retain their natural hues.
What is your shooting style?
My shooting style is primarily candid and photojournalistic. I want your experience with me to unfold naturally while I capture your real emotions, authentic expressions, and genuine moments. I want your photographs to be a reflection of you, hopefully evoking emotions even years later when you look at them again. I strive for a true-to-life and candid look, which develops naturally from the rapport I build during our time together.
How many photos will we get, and when can we expect them?
On average, a small wedding or elopement will yield 300-500 images, while a full-day traditional wedding produces 500+ photographs. A family or couple session lasting 1-2 hours typically results in 100-200 final images. However, these numbers can vary greatly depending on the number of events throughout the day or the level of participation. Each gallery includes color and select black-and-white versions. You can expect to receive an online gallery within 30-60 days after the date we work together.
What if we aren’t big hikers?
I understand that not everyone enjoys long hikes, and that’s perfectly okay! I have many highly accessible locations, some even wheelchair-friendly, that will make finding beautiful spots easier than you thought.
Where do you live?
I am based in Wallsburg, Utah, which is 45 minutes from Park City, an hour from Salt Lake City, and approximately 3.5 hours from Moab and 4.5 hours from Zion National Park.
How soon should we book you?
I typically book elopements and weddings up to two years in advance. This allows ample time for planning. However, I can accommodate elopements with as little as two weeks’ notice. For family sessions, I can usually accommodate at least one week’s notice but typically book at least one month in advance.
How does booking work?
Booking with me is simple! Once you’ve decided you’d like to reach out about working together, we’ll set up a time to chat about your vision, your needs, and all the details you need from a photographer. After our conversation, I’ll send you a link to your own personalized booking site. To secure your spot, all that’s required is a signed agreement and a retainer. Once those are received, your date is officially reserved on my calendar. I’ll stay in contact with you in the weeks leading up to your session/event. For family and couple sessions, I will provide location recommendations personally tailored to you, as well as outfit suggestions to highlight you as the subjects.
What do you require for booking?
For weddings or elopements, I require a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The retainer amount varies depending on the service, which will be discussed during your consultation with me. A Utah wedding or elopement has a $500 retainer, while a family session requires a $100 retainer. For weddings and elopements outside of Utah, the retainer is usually the amount needed to book travel. The remaining balance for weddings and elopements is due one week before your event. Family/couple sessions are due on the day of the session. If your event is a destination elopement or wedding, I’ll also request travel and accommodation details ahead of time.
